The Story

The Yamaha YAS-201 is a soundbar with a wireless active subwoofer that produces 7.1-channel surround sound. It has an RMS rated power of 160 W and 2.1 audio output channels. The soundbar has two 2.2 inch full-range drivers that reproduce audio across a wide frequency range. The subwoofer uses Yamaha Advanced YST II technology to produce deep bass.The YAS-201 supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS audio decoders. It also has UniVolume and Clear Voice technology. UniVolume keeps the volume level the same for all programs and commercials, while Clear Voice enhances the clarity and volume of dialogue and narrations. The soundbar can also learn the power and volume commands from a TV remote control, so the entire system can be operated with one remote.The YAS-201 has a glossy black finish that matches flat-screen TVs and a low height for convenient positioning in front of a TV. It can also be wall or stand mounted
