If you have a high-speed Internet connection, the player can display jacket art, title, and other information on your TV screen via an intuitive, user-friendly menu. You can also search and sort your movies by title, genre, director, or cast, making it a snap to find a specific film. And when you rent movies, you'll appreciate the dedicated rental slot. Just press a button on the front panel, and the carousel automatically spins to this slot for easy loading and unloading.

When you watch a Blu-ray movie, you'll enjoy a smooth picture that captures all the realism and depth of the original film. Images pop with rich colors and remarkable detail. If you have a home theater receiver with an HDMI input, the BDP-CX960 can also deliver riveting sound from Blu-ray discs with Dolby® TrueHD or DTS-HD™ Master Audio soundtracks. These two formats faithfully reproduce every detail and nuance found in the original studio master, for surround sound that's as close as possible to what you hear in the theater.

Bonus material taken to the next level
Support for BonusView and BD-Live lets you enjoy the extra features available on some Blu-ray movies. BonusView gives you access to picture-in-picture directors' commentaries, while BD-Live uses your high-speed Internet connection to deliver additional bonus material like the latest movie trailers. You can even download some features and save them to a USB flash drive (not included).
