The Story

The Otari DTR-8S is a professional R-DAT recorder with two heads. It is compatible with other R-DAT recorders, including consumer models. 
 The DTR-8S supports 48kHz, 44.1kHz, and 32kHz/Long Play mode sampling.
 It uses pulse flow 1 bit D/A converters, 1 bit wide range linear A/D converters, and a clock circuit with less jitter in clock signals to achieve higher sound quality.
