To the greatest extent possible, unnecessary circuity was eliminated so that full emphasis could be placed where it belongs: on the creation of Nakamichi Sound.

Compared with ordinary receivers, the TA-1 stands alone as the affordable introduction to The Sound of Nakamichi.
