The AVR 125 features H/K's high-current amplifier design, with 45 watts x 5 channels (or 55 x 2 stereo) driving all of your home theater speakers with authority. High-resolution 192kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converters enable clean reproduction of today's cutting-edge digital sources.
Dolby® Digital and DTS® decoding deliver fantastic 5.1-channel sound from DVDs and selected satellite and digital cable programs. Dolby Pro Logic™ II and Harman Kardon's exclusive Logic 7® modes let you transform stereo music and Dolby Surround sources into convincing 5.1-channel sound. And if you don't have a home theater speaker system in place yet, H/K's VMAx virtual surround processing lets you enjoy surround-like effects using just 2 speakers.
You get plenty of connectivity for all your sources, including 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 4 A/V inputs with S-video, and a 5.1-channel analog input for a DVD-Audio or SACD player. Front-panel A/V, optical digital, and coaxial digital inputs provide quick hook-up of gear such as camcorders, video games, and portable audio players. You also get a handy remote that's pre-programmed to operate other brands of A/V gear.
